After Hurricane Bill a number of you wrote to ask how we had fared.  In truth the hurricanes were small peanuts compared to some of the other storms we had, and the days on end of high winds.  But I thought that some of you would enjoy seeing a few pictures of our beaches, the surf and the colours of summer:
