Chet Atkins, Leo Brouwer, Eric Clapton, Merle Travis,.John Renbourne, Red Shea, Bruce Cockburn, Michael Hedges, Lenny Breau, Don Ross, Big Bill Broonzy .....
Recognize any names? Yes, all are GREAT guitar players! If you play guitar, then you likely have players that you were influenced by, players you look up, whose technique or sound you somehow connected with.

The 5th Annual Waterloo Wellington Guitar Summit is coming up and we are looking to “Honour Our Mentors” in the evening concert.

Rick Zolkower will be playing selections to highlight his love of the music of Merle Travis and Big Bill Broonzy. Look to hear his tunes flavoured with Roots Americana, Urban blues & Western Swing. Dunstan will be showing off his classical, jazz and blues roots and making connections with his key influencers. Bob will be serving up some tunes with a clear Martin Simpson celtic spin as well as some percussive Michael Hedges altered tunings licks in a night that will surely be memorable.
