Ceilidhs in Wagmatcook

Just wanted to let everybody know about the weekly ceilidhs taking place 
every Tuesday at the Wagmatcook Cultural Centre, located on the Trans-Canada 
Highway, a few miles from Baddeck towards Whycocomagh.  Each show will 
include songs and fiddle tunes.  Coming up tonight (June 30th) we have 
singer Buddy MacDonald and fiddler Rachel Davis.  Next week (July 7th) it's 
Anita MacDonald, Carmel Mikol and Friends.  On July 14th we have Howie 
MacDonald & Brenda Stubbert with Blanche Sophocles, and on the 21st it's 
Donnie Campbell with Mike Hall & Pat Chafe.

Over the next 2 weeks the Centre will be hosting other shows as well.  On 
July 2nd it's Ontario songstress Lynn Miles, on the 6th it's Melanie Doane 
you can hear the bluesy sounds of Porkbelly Futures on July 11th.
