Music in Ottawa area ~August 1st - August 8th

Irene, you picked a good week to be in Ottawa! As Mike mentioned, local CB events will be on our Ottawa Cape Breton Session website, but for Friday and Saturday 
July 31 and Aug 1 any and all Scottish or Cape Breton fiddlers will be in Maxville for the Glengarry Highland Games. There will be fiddling all Friday afternoon, 
and Saturday morning a workshop with Sandy MacIntyre, followed by an afternoon of fiddling featuring local fiddlers as well as Sandy MacIntyre. Usually something 
happens on the Saturday evening with the featured fiddler as well, a ceilidh or dance or something of the sort. Everyone can join in the massed fiddle sets, 
which usually end up with around 50 or so fiddlers playing various sets of well known tunes.
