It's like this:

a.  We love Cape Breton and Cape Breton music.  I've been on this
mailing list for several years now, and we pretty much try to make it to
Cape Breton every year from Wisconsin.

b.  I try to talk up Cape Breton and the music scene whenever I get a
chance.

c.  I'm an interactive web site designer, and I mostly do designs for
nonprofit groups.

So -- I keep on thinking that I really need to do a Cape Breton web
site, mostly oriented toward people visiting Cape Breton from the states
- I've made a few tentative steps on that, and I am thinking it should
include:

a.  Cape Breton business directory
b.  Musical and other artists directory
c.  Practical info on visiting Cape Breton
d.  Lots and Lots of pictures
e.  Add-Your-Own-Event calendar
f.  Blogs by Cape Bretoners and people who love Cape Breton

I want this to be as interactive and "Web 2.0" as possible, and I want
to make it as easy as possible for folks to contribute to it.

I figure the people on this mailing list are a good place to start on
figuring out what might be good features and things  YOU wish you'd
known about Cape Breton and Cape Breton music. 

So I'm asking:

1.  What do you think about this as a general idea?
2.  If this happens, what would you like to see?
3.  Any of you interested in contributing information/blogs/stuff to the
site?
